This is a pretty cool machine with unique mechanics – one example is its ‘reverse basket shift’. Difficult to explain, but cool IRL.
I have cleaned and serviced this machine, but haven’t quite sorted it out completely: The paper rest is crooked, and it’s missing rubber on some feed rollers, making it difficult to feed paper. Aside from that, it works fine – it’s very snappy and pleasant to type on. However, the aesthetic condition is also questionable, with traces of mold on the case. A renovation project for the handy person or a spare parts machine.
