Facit TP2

The successor to the TP1, from the mid-60s. Sturdy and stable machine, designed before the quality started to decline in the 70s.

This one is not serviced and it has a common issue for these Facits: Some type arms are frozen, as is the carriage/escapement. Said to be because it was lubricated with whale oil, which has hardened over the years! Relatively easy to dissolve and blow away – requires some solvents, etc. If you want to service it yourself and need help, I can advise you along the way.
