Hermes Media 3

This is a fine example of a Hermes from the mid-60s – a curvy model in the color “sea foam” (or “mint green”). It is a piece of jewelry! And a very competent workhorse at the same time.

The difference with the Hermes 3000 – which looks almost identical – is that it lacks touch control, tab function and “magic margins” – functions that you can honestly do well without.

This types very nicely, the feel is firm and good. It types small text – “elite”, 12,5 characters per inch – which allows you to fit many characters per line. The cool font is called “Techno” – see the text sample!

There are no known defects, it is fully functional. Aesthetically it has some scratch marks etc, and the small “fork” in the center where the slugs hit the paper is partially broken. See pictures. However, this is nothing that affects the functionality.

The machine is serviced and cleaned. Polished. Also the case is nice and clean. New ribbon is installed.”
